Miranda was born in Cincinnati, Ohio where she lived for 20 years before moving to Austin, Texas. During her time in Texas, Miranda found her true calling as an engagement specialist and community leader, working in both the non-profit and the public sectors. Miranda has been a National Trainer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, a guest speaker at the Texas Recreation and Park Society regional and state conferences, and the National Recreation and Park Association annual conference.

Miranda has her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix (2018), her Master in Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas A&M University Central (2022), and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education in Leadership and Learning in Organizations from Vanderbilt University (2026).

With over 12 years of experience in recreation services, team building, program planning, project management, and more, Miranda is ready to share her passion for strengthening teams through creative solutions.
